There are four spacious rooms at SANKOFA ABAN, each one filled with original details. Queen size and Double rooms are decorated where we start with the late 1800′s and continue 130 years later. (see REVIEWS)
Most rooms have mirrored candlelight fireplace, parquet floors wedding cake design walls and original marble wash basins for personal use. The walls, linens, rugs and furnishings have all been designed in soothing color palettes unique to each room.
Shared spacious bathrooms, two of which include chandelier and whirlpool spa tub or claw foot tub and marble sink.
There are also two smaller rooms available for one person only in a cozy, intimate environment that is a little less money but are as carefully designed for comfort as all the other rooms.
Weekend rates apply to Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights and holidays. Two night minimum.

Rates include continental breakfast (typically serving fresh fruit and berries, smoked turkey or salmon, garden vegetable cream cheese or other flavors, grained breads, hot cereal, flavored coffee, teas and juice); free wi-fi; complimentary tea and wine reception upon arrival; Complimentary champagne, or glass of wine, soda or bottled water supplied along with evening snacks for guests.
A ceiling fan in each room provides cooling breezes in summer. Window air-conditioning units are available by special arrangement.
Board games are available. The social area in the rear parlor is open until 12:00 midnight on weekends.
There are no televisions in the guest rooms of Sankofa Aban.

Decorated in layer after layer of luxurious flowing white fabrics, the Sankofa Aban Bridal Suite is the perfect setting to celebrate your most glorious of days. Bridal suite includes antique furnishings, royal bedding (with a plush pillow-top mattress to die for), private wash area, spa bath, towels and candle lit baths. All of which is set in white. Plus the room is decked out with flowers, hors d‘oeuvres, fruits, chocolates and champagne.
Special requests to set the mood can be arranged in advance, including: Aromatherapy massages, spa baths, in-room dining and more.
